Optimal Mind Psychiatry Mental health Service Preceptorship Program for PMHNP, NP/DNP students
Optimal Mind Psychiatry has a program called Preceptorship Program tailored for PMHNP, NP/DNP students. In this program, participants can put into practice the skills they've learned during their studies and also develop new clinical skills.
The clinical practicum is a crucial part of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) student's education and is a requirement for graduation.
At Optimal Mind Psychiatry, every student is paired with a preceptor who is experienced and caring. This preceptor will guide and mentor each student personally, making sure they have the clinical knowledge and assessment skills they need to give great mental health care and succeed in their profession.
At Optimal Mind Psychiatry, we treat patients with psychiatric and substance use disorders across the lifespan. Prospective students should keep in mind, Optimal Mind Psychiatry treats both children, adolescent and adults’ patients (ages 5-85). However, this population type is limited in numbers for new intakes especially during their school breaks.
Optimal Mind Psychiatry will do everything it can to meet your program’s requirements, so it is essential you convey them beforehand.
